Phew.

Okay... not to get into too many details here (and the novel isn't complete yet!)  But-- the story I started writing during NaNo is a dystopian (kind of?) YA (NA??) "Adam&Eve" story.

A few weeks ago, I was at the library and saw this:

I was, as you can imagine, a little discouraged after that.  I refused to look at the book though... for fear that someone had the same idea that I did... and that my 39,000 word count was a waste of time.

But, after opening and closing the browser 5 different times today-- I finally read Romi @ Where The Writer Comes To Write's review of the novel.  The story line in my novel and the story line in Eve & Adam are completely different.
