That's right ya'll, I'm sitting in the library between classes and I decided to blog. Being that it's the first day of the semester and all, I have no homework to fill in this gap between classes! I am incredibly lucky though, I normally dread Spring Semester. Why? Well, it's usually 0 degrees outside, with a windchill that makes it feel -35 degrees and MSU doesn't have a tunnel system to shield us from the cold! But, we've been having an abnormally mild (and AMAZING) winter so far. It's 40 degrees and sunny! I even read OUTSIDE before my classes started.
The fresh air is satisfyingly delicious... especially after being stuck inside ALL WEEKEND.
That's right, ALL WEEKEND.
Friday afternoon, I worked. I picked up Eva from preschool, discovered she had a fever. Spent the night nursing her back to health. She woke up on Saturday, and was still feverish and suffering from other issues as well. Took care of her all day. Went to work at night. Came home. Went to bed.
Then, I woke up on Sunday with the freaking flu. That's right. I got sick TWICE in one week. I was miserable. It was the fever, aches and pains, can't even keep water down, pounding head ache kind of flu.
So, color me surprised when I woke up this morning feeling 90% human. I did fight with my peanut butter toast this morning, it kept trying to leave my stomach. But, in the end, I won out. I am just not going to eat until I get home. I know I should be eating more, being pregnant at all... but, my body just doesn't want food.
I have actually lost 15 lbs since this pregnancy... not that you can tell, because I'm already showing. Unfortunately, it seems to have all come off of my beautiful bum. I used to have no ass back in the day. It was quite unfortunate. I was a 36-24-28 kinda gal. Flat butt. Then, I had Eva and I turned into more of a 36-29-34... and I liked it. I liked my new found behind. Now, it's not there. I put my leggings on and my butt is all saggy in them. IN LEGGINGS. My friend Lacey would refer to this as, "poop butt."
I just tried to google image "poop butt" , "mom jeans" , "saggy butt" to find you guys an appropriate picture of what I'm referring to. But, as you can see, it was unsuccessful!
